Yep, seems fair to me.

Though Dawson is playing.

And now out for the season with an injury, sadly.

First innings they amassed 0, 0, 0 and 0*

second innings 0, 0, 0, 0 and 1*

Durham-esque

Sanderson is a not totally incompetent number 11. Anybody batting below him must be poor. Without the batting of Newton and Wakely we look very light in the batting department. Historically our lower middle order has done well but not this match.

I'd guess that Notts will win, but a couple of early wickets from Yorks, so they might have to sweat a little first.

I was reading the paper and Notts haven't won in an age- think it said 10 games since their last victory so they must be feeling tense and have just lost a 4th wicket. 127 more required. If it gets close I'd favour Yorkshire.

66-5 now. A long batting line up- Samit isn't even in yet. But Yorks favourites.

Unless Moores and Trego have been inspired by Buttler and Woakes. Which is possible.

Still Samit to get. Looks like Yorks will win this though. If ZBGB comes back, that's a good batting line up.

Notts might have to wait until they come up against our lot before they notch up a win.

Kerrigan has signed for Northamptonshire on a 2 year contract.

is that good news, DD. He's struggled to secure a place in a team for quite a while now.

I like the way he's described as ex-England spinner (it is true, of course, and maybe that's the upside of one appearance a thousand years ago), but he could more accurately be described as former Shropshire spinner

still..... I wish him well, but he'll be annoyed that he can't play Durham and notch up career best figures any time soon

He was with the team in Singapore pre-season so it's not exactly a blind signing. Hopefully he'll do a job and we haven't got any spinners.

I hadn't realised it was 2017 when he last played a first class match.
