Has been a bit expensive (going at over 4 an over) but when Aus were on the rack, he and Tom Abell between them knocked off the last 4 wickets in 18 balls . Something we never seem able to do

And something other teams do brilliantly against us!

Expensive and wicketless in 2nd innings. He's obviously been doing something right though to get called into both lions squads. A good few ahead of him at international level at present though.

Yep. From a selfish Durham point of view - and if he stays fit - that could be good for us. He could potentially put in eye catching performances without getting an England call because there are others ahead of him. Makes promotion this year essential before Notts get out the cheque book.

Bangers is averaging 13 in the Sheffield Shield this season.... 13!

he's played 13 innings and scored 158 runs

a tad worrying

Unless he's had some blow which has effected his confidence I'm not too concerned. Most players have a poor run at sometime, hopefully he's having his away from Durham.

well, we'd better hope he scores heaps of runs in the last two shield matches

Not daft Woody. Bowling on those pitches?-I think I'll develop a side strain.

Yeah! I wouldn't have played him over there in any case! If he hadn't been injured at the start he would have been by the end!

he'll be playing for Titans, I'd imagine

they are in Momentum one day cup mode atm, and there are still two 4 day matches to play before the SA season ends (last match starts 5th April)

he'll be warmed up when he arrives if nothing else

He'll sharp cool down in the NE in April
With these early season starts may be without both him and Bangers at Sussex.

Yeah and there'll probably be another end of season dinner for Bangers to attend!
