And in the blink of an eye the group stage of this competition is over with winless Speen Ghar being the only team knocked out.

Caught a bit of the final group game between 4th placed Band-e-Amir and 3rd placed Boost, not even a win for the team lower down the table could see them move above their rivals. Boost's batting seemed to be painfully slow. Although they amassed some higher individual totals (Munir Ahmad's 102 being the highest) they could not chase down Boost's 262. The Semis play out on Tuesday and Wednesday with the final on Friday.

Mis Ainak's Shaidullah currently holds the title for most runs with 350 across his 4 games including two centuries and a half century. His team mate Noor Ahmed has the most wickets with 9.

Since being handed his Test debut against Zimbabwe, Abdul Malik has averaged 11.2 in all forms of the game. He reminded everyone of his real worth today with the highest total of the competition and saw Amo through to the Final on Friday. His 137 constituted 47% of Amo's total of 291. The chase looked closer than the 31 run victory suggests as a clatter of wickets fell late as Band-E-Amir, the lowest placed qualifiers, were knocked out of the competition.

Abdul Wasi also got a fivefer to take him to the top of the wicket taking tally with 11.
