Kabul started off their long form season poorly as Mis Ainak's Zahir Khan got 3-54. Kabul were all out for 182.

It was a day for the bowlers though - as Mis Ainak were 6-1, 9-2 and 22-3 before a late fourth wicket partnership got them to 71-3.

Seems it wasn't such a soft day for Kabul as it looked.

After posting only 182 yesterday they ended up with a first innings lead of 65 thanks to a remarkable 8-35 from Naveen-ul-Haq who completely decimated the middle and lower order.

The second innings seems to be a different kettle of fish however as the bat now has supremacy as Kabul finish the day with a second innings score greater than the two first innings total combined. They finished on 308-4. A lead of 373.

Seeing as how the rest of the game has gone it seems only fitting that the spoils went to another bowler as Kabul won this game by a thundering 380 runs.

This time it was Fazal Haque who got the most out of the ball with figures of 6-26 to see Mis Ainak to a disappointing 145 all out.

Earlier Kabul closed out their dominant second innings on 460.

Young Ishanullah was the pick of the batsmen as Mis Ainak faced off against Boost today.

He got his highest ever career score of 248 off 239 balls as MAR got to 425-6. The young Afghanistan player, who made his debut for Afghanistan in the Test against Ireland, is seen as a hot prospect and is captaining this team at the tender age of 19.

After yesterday's frantic batting performance, today was more easy going.

After Mis Ainak finally got all out for 508, Bahar Shinwari kicked off the Boost innings with 61 to give hi team a decent platform to move to 157/3 overnight.

fter losing their first game Mis Ainak came back fighting by sealing an innings and 102 runs in their second.

Zahir Khan has been the stand out player for Mis Ainak so far this season and proved that by helping them to dismiss Boost twice today. He got four wickets to gut the lower order in their first innings to take innings figures of 6-52 and then pitched in with 3 as Boost were all out int heir second innings for 167 in just 4.2 overs.

The win puts them temporarily joint first place alongside Amo and Kabul. Kabul's game is going to be washed out whilst Amo look to be heading to a draw.

This comp is always good for unearthing new Afghanistan players.

The game between Band-e-Amir and Boost is dead after having lost Day 2 to rain but Nasibullah Sherdali has continued his impressive early form with a score of 80* overnight for Boost.

After his first three games his scores have read: 1, 42*, 61, 21, 51, 16 and now 80.

Not a bad start.

Unbelievable the Band-e-Amir v Boost game did reach a conclusion. Boost declared on 330 - reckoning themselves to get BEA out for under 216 - a task they narrowly achieved.

A poor start was nearly righted by Mohammad Sardar who got 62 but it proved to not be enough as Boost got their first win of the season to leapfrog BEA off the bottom of the table.

Meanwhile, on new Afghanistan bowlers watch, Zohaib got figures of 7-52 in what is just his seventh List A game for Amo vs Kabul

Seems this lad might be the real deal.

He is on a run a ball 147* overnight on a day where Mis Ainak are having it all their own way.

Despite capitulating to 178 all out on Day 1, it only took them 24 overs to get out the 7 Band-e-Amir batsmen they needed. Then, thanks to Ishanullah, they stormed into a 235 run lead as they stand on 303/5 overnight.

Continues to impress - as do Amo.

They beat Boost by an innings with a day spare thanks to nine wickets from the youngster. That's 41 wickets from 8 First Class matches

For the third time in four games, Mis Ainak's Zahir Khan has emerged with notable figures.

After the whole of Day Three was washed out the draw seemed inevitable but Zahir's six-fer - his second in three matches - added some spice to the day. A result was close but Boost needed 30 runs with one wicket left when stumps were drawn so would probably be thankful for the draw.

My weekly round up of games begins in friendly Kabul where the home teams 15 year old opener and captain (!), Farhan Zakhil posted a century to help his team to 305 - despite losing a batsmen in the second over.

Kabul's day was rounded off well when they inflicted the same pain on Boost by claiming a scalp with the last wicket of the day to leave the visitors 3-1 at stumps.

Boost have a lot to thank Nasir Jamal for today after a lacklustre top order batting performances was held up by a score of 154*.

Four of the top five batsmen made 36 runs - however the captain was joined by a bit of lower middle order assistance to see Boost through to a respectable score of 299/6. A great rally from 61/4.

They have a deficit of 6 runs on first innings from Kabul.

Farhan Zakhil, the young Afghanistan prodigy, stitched together his second century of the match to take Kabul to 224-4 after Kabul collapsed from 299-6 overnight to 324 all out.

Kabul hold a 205 run lead going into the final day.

At last a day for the bowlers after three days of batter friendly action. Yamin Ahmadzai got three wickets to wrap up the Kabul innings with a 352 run.

A draw was always on the cards from there on in and Boost got to 98-4 by end of match. Boost remain second bottom with Kabul one place above.
