Durham were better this season! On the up.
So were Yorks until we approached Autumn anyway. Thanks to some improved batting and imported spinners.

When he was playing against Durham last year the discovery that his dad played Hitler in the Tom Cruise film Valkyrie immediately became a favourite bit of trivia!

ah well.... the fans know what the guardians of the game are up to
when we became a first class county in 1992 the CC season started 25th April and ended 15th Sept... 3 day games of course, but 17 of them
In 2000 with divisions and sixteen 4 day games the CC started 2nd May and finished 9th Sept
next year, with 14 games, It is likely that by the end of May the competition will be 8 games in. We'll wait and see, of course, but 8 games before June and 4 in Sept would represent a complete disregard for the game.... and Harrison is a major part of the big sell out
