Both sides made over 200 here last season. So fingers crossed it's a very different pitch, because otherwise we're only about 70 under par...

Impressive t20 bowling attack. Maybe the third best, after Sussex and Lancs.

I really can't believe that any other county would pick Fuller as a specialist batsmen. Just shows how desperate we are for anyone who can clear a boundary on their day.

Knew I should have sacked off this competition after those first three losses. For the third season out of four, we're a side totally devoid of idea and power. At least the pain is now over though, barring a very unlikely five wins out of five to finish.

Yep. And it shows how awful we've been with the bat, because he's still easily our top run scorer. Almost 100 runs clear, which is a much bigger margin than it sounds when you then consider that Vince himself has barely made 200 runs.

It'd be unusual for a player to lose all form and confidence after being involved with the England set up!

Ordinarily you'd say that, for all money, you want to bat first at the Oval. But with the rain around this morning, and the fact that we have the option to dispense of the toss if we want, as the away team, I do wonder if we might bowl first.

Plus, for the first time since about 1925, we won't have to deal with Rory Burns batting for hours on end against us.

Very consistent scoring through the lineup. Contributions all the way down.
