In game one. In April. Against Essex.

After being put in, too.

McManus ( in for an injured Alsop) and Wetherley both dropped catches in last few minutes

First baller. Not unthinkable that Essex could be batting again before tea.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

A totally dominant performance against a strong Essex side.

If everyone is up for it, we have a strong team (albeit a lack of depth) a pace attack of Barker, Berg, Abbott and Fidel is frightening. Not sure anyone on the circuit is quicker than Fidel and no-one is smarter/better than Kyle.

Vince and Northeast both have points to prove for slightly different reasons, so could/should be interesting to watch.

Yep. Should be a very competitive division this year. Hard to call although Surrey will take some stopping.

Hi All. Just tuning into the new season. Good start to the season (with a feeling of deja vu from last year!) .

Essex are a much better side than Worcs who ended up rock bottom.

Need a wicket, this Bopara Harmer partnership is getting annoying.

Shambolic performance from us so far with bat and ball :( Porter set the tone with a wayward opening spell and has leaked runs, Good fightback this morning but too little too late and a dreadful opening round defeat on the way :(

30 overs without a wicket.

Won't be long before we'll have to factor in batting again to win.

Abbott has lost his mojo with the new ball! At this rate they'll be level before tea.
