287 all out and then one of the openers ( don't know which one ) was out again just before the close.

So the 11th wicket was Whitehead , not as I assumed, one of the openers.

crikey... good start for Ben Raine

I confess that I hadn't considered Pringle as a contender for the starting XI in the CC, but perhaps he's put down an early claim?

Yes, I wouldn't have considered him either but he's made the most of an opportunity. I'd imagine Harte is likely to start given he had a pretty decent ( relatively speaking ) time of it last year. That batting lineup looks flimsy though, Bancroft should score runs once he settles in but there are doubts about all of the rest - I don't think any of them have anything other than modest recent records.

The morning session today must have bern similar to yesterday, Yorkshire 78/3 at lunch.

Fairly evenly matched so a positive sign. I wonder who was captain?

Jonny Tattersall was the star of the show today, a remarkable all round display going by the website report " Wicketkeeper Jonny Tattersall was the pick of the bowlers for the White Rose, scoring an unbeaten century."
