50 for Poynter at under a run a ball. Regardless of the opposition it must still be a confidence booster to get runs/wickets. And good for the average!
Harte closing in on a century.

I decided to pop down for a couple of hours. In some shock news the scoreboard isn't working properly. Neither is the MCCU batting although they've recovered to 33/2.

No seats in the trap door stand. Looks as if the panels or frames are in the portocabins behind the stand.
Wicket just now for Raine in his first over 43/3.
Perfect weather, what's the betting that it won't be for the first proper game?!

The trademark habit conceding a 50 run stand for the 9th wicket continues. Although they're not exactly going for the kill with Rushy and Raine long out of the attack.

Just confirms what we already knew -only the 2 aforementioned are of 1st class standard.

Yes, production line of fast bowlers seems to have stopped.

Bancroft has also been named captain for the Championship and 50 over competition, and Durham will be hoping his abrasive personality will rub off on his team mates and drive them towards success.

Whoever wrote this preview clearly couldn't help himself

Seems strange to have warm-up/first class match with a fair few of first teamers unavailable!

I hadn't realised that half the senior squad were still in SA playing a warm up 50 over match there against (presumably) a local side

https://www.pitchvision.com/#/pvm/90032

century for Clark, fifties for Trevaskis, Burnham, Richardson, Eckersley.

4 wickets each for Salisbury and Trevaskis

Seems as if the tour was organised before the University games ended up being scheduled earlier than usual so that's why some didn't travel and others returned early.
When Lees got a half century im his first game as stand in captain I was thinking he might have escaped the curse...then he was run out in apparently farcical scenes and got a duck in the second innings!
