You certainly don't want Levi and Rossington batting for too long. They could take the game away from you very quickly.

these 2 have doubled their score.

This is where the game gets away from us

I thought it would be Wakely, tbh. I'd have put money on it

miles behind to Northants and Gloucs are in complete command against Worcs.

2nd and 3rd right there. probably won't need to go to the head to head next week. a draw will probably be plenty

Plunkett playing for Sorry today

I thought he was on a white ball contract. Maybe he's realised that in order to make the England world T20 squad he probably needs to be a red ball specialist. Or he's realised that there is now no more domestic 50 over cricket that he can play to keep his ODI place..... but that's true of all the England ODI squad, I suppose

what a ridiculous situation the ECB have got themselves in. Just as well they won the world cup this year

Burnham took the catch and I don't imagine we had a 3rd slip in place, so I reckon he's taken the catch in his other fielding position..... the mid wicket boundary

This match was arguably the most important for many a season...and barring a miraculous turnaround ( double hundred by Watling! Although even that might not suffice) it is going to end in disaster!
They have simply got to find at least two batsmen with experience and a record that inspires confidence. If they do it then we should have a more than useful batting lineup bookended by Lees and Eckersley.

Yes, Invariably competing CC sides have their team bolstered by an experienced Kolpac or dual passport holder in addition to the standard overseas player. Undoubtedly there has been progress this season but whilst it's easy to clear out underperforming players the challenge is to replace them with better. I'll reserve judgement on our DoC until I have evidence he has achieved that.
