We need a proven consistent runs runscorer Carse and Steel are promising, no more. A proven wicket taking spinner would be a huge asset but not a realistic target, unless there's another Harmer hiding somewhere.

we are going to get spun out tomorrow

Don't worry. Whoever they are our lot will make them look like Muralitheran and Warne.

Clutching at straws but Martin Emmerson has mentioned that our first innings total was our second lowest of the season - and that the lowest ( against Leics ) was in a game we won!

In that case we might make 150 - if we play well!

Off to a solid start. 18/2 with the customary wicket in the over before a break.
Only 384 more needed!

Even Ben Stokes couldn't save us here! Does a win send you up or still to be decided next week?

I was thinking Keogh and Bracewell, but it seems Bracegirdle is a seamer... I could have sworn he was a spinner :facepalm

It'll just have to be Keogh, then.... if we bat long enough for Northants to bring him on

I always thought Proctor was an offie too, until I checked

I need to do more research

I was agreeing with you. Carse and co was said with tongue firmly in cheek..... sorry... I should have put some sort of smiley on it or something
