Going into the final day of the penultimate round, champions Guyana were in control of their match against Barbados at Bridgetown. In their first innings, Guyana made 297 all out, thanks to knocks of 90 from Chanderpaul Hemraj and 56 from Leon Johnson. Former under-19 champion Chemar Holder took 5-57. Romario Shepherd then took 5-40 to dismiss Barbados for a mere 199 all out, tailender Kemar Roach topscoring with 51. Leading by 98 on first innings, Guyana reached 154-4 at stumps, Tagenarine Chanderpaul opening the batting and closing on 66 not out.
Jamaica were strongly placed in their low-scoring match at Sabina Park against the Leewards. First, Sheno Berridge took 4-46 to dismiss Jamaica for just 197 all out, Jermaine Blackwood topscoring with 81. But legspinner Damion Jacobs struck back with 7-74 to bowl the Leewards out for a paltry 171 all out, Kacey Carty topscoring with 78. Leading by 26 on first innings, Jamaica made 235 all out in their second, thanks to half-centuries from Blackwood (70) and John Campbell (55). Berridge finished with 5-59. Set 262 to win, the visitors have made hard work of the total so far, closing the third day's play on 159-6. Devon Thomas has topscored so far with 52.
At St Georges, the Windwards saved their best performance for when the title was already decided. Kavem Hodge hit 128 and Kyle Mayers 74 to propel the Windwards to 366 all out. Dennis St Clair took 6-62. Offspinner Shane Shillingford then took 3-36 to dismiss Trinidad for a pathetic 172 all out, veteran Denesh Ramdin topscoring with 75. Following on Trinidad were 93-2 at stumps.
