Massive noise from Lees as it goes through to WK, umpire is only person that doesn't think it's out

Cue some chuntering from the men round the bat for the next few overs which will hopefully lead to him playing a rash shot and getting out.

How to get whacked for six?

Lee's is annoying me n all.

I guess we couldn't expect the top order for Yorkshire to bat as badly again.

It's still a flat wicket, that doesn't magically change.

For the second game running, we find ourselves in a position where we could badly do with Crane rather than Wheal. But that's cricket. You couldn't see beforehand we'd have Middlesex and Yorkshire in these positions. And without Wheal's lower order batting - and the odd first innings wicket - we might not have got into these positions.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

I notice alot of byes being conceded in this innings.

Obviously it may be loose bowling but with the dropped chance or two by McManus in recent times, wondering if his all round keeping is a bit shaky?

Wheal has taken his fair share of wickets, albeit a bit expensive.

No guarantee Crane could have done much on this early season flat Rosebowl track. He hardly has a world beating reputation yet.
