Willey out.

We have to enforce the follow on if we get the chance, surely?

Yep, I don't see that we have any choice. If we bat again, we'd have to bat for the rest of the day - you wouldn't want to set this Yorkshire side less than 400 in a day. And you couldn't then see us taking 10 wickets in just one day.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

Big wicket of Ballance just before lunch. Secures max bowling points.

Also should mean that we won't lose two overs for the change of innings, now that lunch can be delayed by up to 30 mins.

Indeed, also means that Abbott and Berg would have 40 mins to put their feet up before taking the new ball, should we get this wicket before lunch and then enforce the FO.

I saw the Dawson ball which bowled Willey, seemed to break quite sharply.

Hopefully he can be a serious threat in Yorkshire's second innings.

Especially as Topley doesn't appear to be much of a threat.

Abbott is due another big haul after his poor return in the first innings!

What are we aiming for by the close; five down? If so, we'd probably have something like an 60 to 80 run lead still, so in a much better position than when Middlesex began last Monday five down, but with a 30 run lead already.
