It was all going so well at lunch!

I meant tea, supper, high tea, dinner, whatever.

Not beyond the realms of possibility that the next time a ball is bowled, it will be Thursday.

Must admit I hadn't checked the forecast.

Looks brighter tomorrow afternoon after the morning deluge.

Mind you Wednesday looks a wash out.

I guess we should be praying for rain at this stage, a draw will do is fine right now.

Fair to say that Dawson isn't happy with the ball. Very much put the slow scoring down to the softness of the ball (and the fields it allowed Somerset to set as a result).

For some reason I was looking at the forecast for Manchester!

Looks like play today doubtful as raining solidly from lunchtime.

Tomorrow looks like there should be some play.

Could do with a couple more wickets before rain ends the days play.

Been raining steadily here since lunchtime.

No surprise that time called early today.

Forecast looks slightly more promising tomorrow, although at the moment not overly fussed if more time lost.

I guess getting max bowling points and playing out a draw is our goal right now.

If the rain we're getting now lasts as the forecast predicts it will then they'll be no play today, and Brendy's suggestion on Monday that we wouldn't see another ball bowled until Thursday will have almost come to fruition.

Suits Hants down to the rain sodden ground!

I see Holland won a TV cricket reality series in Oz to get a contract with Victoria!

I'm trying to work out why Holland keeps on getting selected. Hopefully he proves me wrong during this match, but for a supposed all-rounder, I'm yet to see evidence that he can bat or bowl. Yes he has good figures with both for the 2nds, but the counts for very little in my book.

At last he's having a decent bowling spell.

Panic stations from Somerset now with a run out.

Holland initiating the wicket as well!

Tom Abell seems to be having a real shocker. Disastrous run of form with the bat and Hildreth isn't doing much better and nor is Davies!

The captaincy hasn't done him much good, 11 scores of single figures so far this season.

135/8, a result still possible in this game.

Oh dear. 11 single figure scores. :facepalm A dreadful season thus far for him and he won't come up against our bowlers who would almost certainly have played him back to form!
