Another domestic one day final ruined by a poor wicket, how many ICC Final Events are played on a green top?

The ECB claim having a domestic 50 over tournament will emulate international conditions, yet the final itself is played towards late September and England player availability is not guaranteed in any round of matches. Players can prepare all they like for international matches, but you can't emulate the nerves and pressure situation of knockout cricket.

At least next years final is going to be played in July, but given the heavy international schedule next year how many England players will get to play in the competition? and most importantly will they be guaranteed to play in the knockout stage?

I'm out this afternoon so not watched any play but it sounds like Warwickshire have totally outplayed Sorry. What a shame.

A sure bet.

22 To win with only 2 wickets down so I'm now convince of a Warwickshire victory. Not a spectacle of cricket for the spectators but I'm sure the Surrey fans would love their team to be winning in this fashion.

Only saw a bit of this game when Surrey wickets were tumbling at the end.

Wasn't the point being made that young players were being called up having no experience of 50 over...rather than already established England players who have already e Petrie fed internationally.
