Hope it isn't a bad omen.

I think if it takes a run out to end a last wicket partnership lasting nearly 40 overs it means the pitch is a road and/or the bowlers are knackered

There is that, but it's still a waste and unnecessary when they were doing so well.

At least McManus ended up unbeaten on 132 and sent his average sky rocketing into the mid forties.

According to a tweet from the ground it was a remarkable piece of fielding by Aaron Finch. So it was probably a fluke dismissal.

Fair enough, thanks Captain.

A bit of a stuttering start to the second innings, an early wicket after lunch.

If we can't survive from here, we deserve to go down.

We're at again, two quick wickets, followed by recovery.

Hope that we do recover for about the fourth time and we can see this game through to a draw.

This is really a pretty pathetic second innings from us.

We may well still get out of it, but to be honest we deserve to bloody well lose.

Thanks. So 14 left now, only 26 behind so if they get bowled out with a lead that'll be 12 left.

Three wickets without a run being scored. This is going to be a much bigger defeat that any suffered previously this year or next year.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

And there's the loss. And very, very likely relegation.

Well done to McManus and Wheal, you could have done no more with the bat.

Crane, what a complete mare with the ball and sadly no fight with the bat.

Very very poor. A terrible season continues.
