There will be loads of Aussies who have not made the Ashes squad who will be looking to play county cricket this summer. Cummings, Pattinson, Faulkner would be very decen.t

Faulkner not in either squad, must be lined up to play county cricket so he is on stand by for any injuries to the Aussie bowlers/all rounders.

Cummings and Faulkner are at the IPL and Pattinson currently has a hamstring injury. Half the CC fixtures have been played by the time the IPL is complete and they also miss end of season games if involved in the finals.Durham signing of Hastings gets shrewder by the day.

Giles has said we're already looking for a replacement, good to see us being proactive for once.

Sounds a good signing, but he didn't have a great time at Derbys. Good luck Chet.

Very pleased how Yorkshire acted swiftly on finding an overseas replacement and one who really wants to play red ball cricket.

I suppose that means YK won't be going to Yorkshire at all.

Ian Bell has signed a further 3 year contract with his beloved Bears. Hardly surprising but still a sensible thing to do on his part. He'll probably spend the rest of his working life with them in some capacity or other.
