Guyana cemented their hold on the PCL title, when they made 289-5 on the second day of their match in Roseau, for a small lead of six runs on first innings with five wickets in hand. Offspinner Shane Shillingford and left-arm pacer Delorn Johnson took two wickets each to reduce the Guyanese to 111-5, but unbeaten knocks from Chris Barnwell (104) and Shiv Chanderpaul (83) took the game away from the Windwards.

Second-placed Barbados kept firm control of their final round match at Sabina Park, making 310 all out in their first innings, pacers Marquino Mindley (4-47) and Jason Dawes (4-57) sharing the wickets. Left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican then took seven wickets to reduce Jamaica to 222-9, recalled opener Jon-Ross Campbell topscoring with 36.

On a rain-affected second day, the Leewards made 245-9 in reply to Trinidad's 291, Steve Liburd making 93 against three wickets each for pacer Marlon Richards and legspinner Imran Khan.

Guyana were on the verge of securing their first hold on the regional four-day title since 1998, after totally dominating the penultimate day of the final round of their game in Dominica. First, Chris Barnwell (148) and Shiv Chanderpaul (118) hit centuries to guide Guyana to 427 all out, a lead of 144 on first innings, while offspinner Shane Shillingford took 5-118 for the Windwards. Then, left-arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul took three wickets to reduce the Windwards to 113-6, still needing another 31 runs to make the visitors bat again. Opener Tyrone Theophile has topscored so far with 45 not out.

Second-placed Barbados ground out a 250-run lead at the end of the third day, scoring at only two runs an over in their second innings. First, left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican took 8-72 to dismiss Jamaica for 228, and with a lead of 82 runs on second innings, Barbados looked to be in a good position to pile on the agony. However, Jamaica captain Tamar Lambert's field placings and good use of bowlers meant that the visitors found runs hard to score, and closed on 168-2, led by captain Kraigg Brathwaite's 78 not out from 236 balls, and a knock of 59 from 171 balls from fellow-opener Omar Phillips. Pacer Jason Dawes has taken both wickets so far.

On a day in which 13 wickets fell, legspinner Imran Khan (4-70) and pacer Marlon Richards (3-34) combined to dismiss the Leewards for 277. With a first innings lead of only 14, Trinidad then collapsed to 226 all out in their second innings, Kjorn Ottley topscoring with 80, against part-time spinner Rahkeem Cornwall's 3-77. The Leewards were 34-2 at stumps.

Spin twins Veerasammy Permaul (4-30) and Dev Bishoo (4-38) bowled out the Windwards for a paltry 134 all out in their second innings, giving Guyana a convincing victory by an innings and 10 runs. Tyrone Theophile topscored for the Windwards with 47. This was Guyana's first regional four-day title since 1998.

Despite leading by 82 runs on first innings, Barbados struggled to cope with Tamar Lambert's field placings and rotation of the bowlers, and found runs hard to score in their second, eventually settling on the draw at 303-9 from all over 156 overs. Captain Kraigg Brathwaite topscored with 90 from all of 348 balls, while the wickets were shared by pacer Jason Dawes (3-44), legspinner Damion Jacobs (3-57) and offspinner Tamar Lambert (3-61).

Chasing 241 for victory, the Leewards beat Trinidad by five wickets, thanks to an unbeaten 101 from Rahkeem Cornwall, and 50s from Steve Liburd and Devon Thomas. Pacer Marlon Richards took two wickets for Trinidad.
