For a while now I've thought of pitch inspectors being a waste of time and still do.
To be fair though I think the rules need to be changed. 15 wickets in a day happens every now and then but that doesn't mean the pitch is bad. In fact what is wrong with a game where wickets tumble?
Why aren't flat pitches punished? I would rather watch an exciting game where there are plenty of wickets falling than one where one team has scored 600 and the other gets 500 as the game peters out into an inevitable draw.
Thoughts?
