Love how Glammy's openers aren't even listed  Saying that the addition of Rudolph probably makes our openers a lot better than in recent years.

Adam Lyth is not the same player since Jacques Rudolph left Yorkshire.

I was wondering which opening pair has the most century partnerships between them.

Sandham and Hobbs have over 300 centuries between them and 66 century partnerships opening the batting.

I'm not sure if that is a record, but it would be interesting to see where it stands in the annals of time.

Essex sadly don't have a settled opening pair...when Cook's away, perhaps Westley and Mickelburgh are our opening combo..

If this poll was re-done again, Lees and Lyth would get a unaminous vote.

Yep, no other pair has come close, Adams and Carbs' 260 odd partnership last week boosts their stats a bit, but they are having disappointing seasons.

Still have to go with Sanham and Hoobs. No pair who actually played together comes close in terms of runs.
