Re Moores at Lancs. England have pushed aside a fair amount of Test scheduling post Ashes to prepare for the WC, and many would say that is the big goal coming up before the next Ashes. I'm pretty sure Lancs were at the last T20 finals day. But what has Moores been like in preparing his team for 40-50 over games?

150 up, Horton still ticking along on 64, put on 70 with Proctor following Prince's dismissal.

Proctor finally out, Jos makes his debut, slams his first ball as a Lancashire batsman for four.

This is his big opportunity to lay down a serious marker

Horton gone for 84.

Nice chance for Buttler to prove his worth under a little bit of pressure.

There goes Buttler chasing a wide one for 28, not the most auspicious debut! 245 for 8, perhaps not the best decision to bat first.

Fourth for Woakes. Chapple gone, yet another batsman chasing a wide one.

Make that five for Woakes.

I suppose they now have Farbrace, who has done well in ODIs with SL. Though with better players available.

Laurie Evans gone caught at cow corner off Smith. Bell starting to look a little more fluent which is worrying.

Finally get another wicket with Chapple picking up Javid.

50 for Bell, it's clear we're going to be facing a huge battle to save the game.

In other news Moores just picked up a fifty for Derbyshire.

Smith gets Ambrose.

Jimmy has bowled 25 wicketless overs so far.
