I can't place him, at all

Kyle Jarvis, right arm fast, played 8 Test for Zimbabwe. We signed him at the fag end of last season, he's only 25 but retired internationally to come and play for us on a Kolpak deal.

If Ali stays fit and with Hogg and Chapple to come back, can't see him getting a game.

Jarvis is a very good bowler, and he is better than Ali.

Well, you'd have to be disapointed to let the opposition get 270 on the board all things concerned. Hopefully we nip last one out first thing.

No Taylor for Notts, which is a little strange, is he injured?

Also, Lancashire are putting up the dismissals on youtube which is rather nice.

Taylor has apparently picked up a side strain.

Well the last couple of sessions have gone badly wrong. Baring Smith's 42* a rather toothless batting display, not allaying any fears about the hole Kat has left. 163 behind, not looking good.

Chasing just shy of 350. Losing Reece last night was a blow but Horton and Kerri have stabilised this morning currently 37 for 1.

Proctor gone as well now. Two sessions to bat out with three recognised batsmen seems a bit of an ask. Not replacing Kat seems to have been a bit of a mistake from Moores. We'e got Buttler to come into the side, but the batting looks weak.

Davies gone now. Early doors, but this batting does make it look tough for us to be staying up.

50 up for Prince, solid support from Smith building on his first innings knock. They're going along a decent clip, 160 to go....

50 for Smith. These two have put on over 100 now. 131 in a session to win, doable however if either of these two get out then we don't have much left to see us through. Interestingly poised.

Less than 100 needed now, second new ball just round the corner. Smith starting to get a little careless against Patel.
