The ball is doing all sorts this morning. I'd really rather be bowling right now, in case the conditions don't last.

Yep, very tough game at Portman Road this afternoon coming off the back of two iffy performances against Yeovil and Sheff Wed where they looked to be running out of steam. Still a win this afternoon and look again at the table at 5pm and see where we stand. If we lose well hey ho, its been a fabulous effort in the last two months to get anywhere near to the play offs. A bit of a mention for Havant and Waterlooville who are trying to get into the play offs in the Conference South with a tough game against the Champions Eastleigh this afternoon. The ex Bournemouth manager, Lee Bradbury, is in charge down there, and due to a massive fixture pile up after the winter rain and their run in the FA Trophy they've been playing 3 games a week for the last 6 or 7 weeks, so to get from just outside the drop zone to where they are now has been a real achievement.

Could be the new ball and after the shine has gone the movement will decrease. Gatting still there, now see what Bates can do.

I'd like us to bat a bit quicker here, 272/7 off 93.2..guess they've been told to secure the 3rd batting point.

Progress has been ok this morning, yesterday's crawl has put them behind overall.

Now you're right 18 successive dot balls.

50 for Gatting :salute

only fair to praise him, after the criticism he has taken, 16 more needed for batting point.

And he has done. Well done good fifty in the circs.

All that hard work mate, and you go and get out by being caught on the boundary going for a 6.

Good, atleast someones trying for the 350, I don't understand why we are bothering batting on if Coles isn't having a slog..all we are doing is giving them a chance at the last point.
