I did read somewhere that Peter Moores is a Carbs fan, so some runs could see him retain his England spot.

Well he saw first hand, as Lancs coach, Carbs' one-day 150* and t20 100* last season.

The 150* in particular was a limited overs knock of the highest quality. Shame that we reached the target when we did, as he'd have easily gone on to make it a double had he been able to go on.

Was it Moores that capped Carbs in Bangladesh ??

Infact, couldn't of been, because Moores left when KP did, and Carbs was capped when Strauss was captain and sat it out

Adams out for 7, 46/1 off 17

Still a very decent start after being put in.

Vince needs to remember that just because you're in blistering form doesn't mean you don't need to get yourself in! One handed attempted slogs on the last ball before lunch do not an international player make.

Was just about to post I'd probably take 300, considering we were put in. Vince gets out for 30...would definitely take 300 now.

Slow progress, has there been a delay? Been raining here for the last five hours.

We started 30mins late, then had a 45-60 minute delay around 2 o'clock.

Considering Surrey-Essex and Kent-Leicester have been called off for the day, we've done well.

Yes, not sure what its like in Southampton but there would have been no play in Bournemouth today.

Smith moves onto 30*, which means he now has 100 FC runs for us in only his 3rd innings, good signing.
