Probably my least favourite draw!

I see Surrey lost tonight & Luke Wright scored an amazing unbeaten 153 for Sussex!

You should know by now, we never do things the easy way! We really need Vince to recover some form. A blistering power play from him and Carbs really makes the difference. He's got some good opportunities in the 50 over games this week. Same for Maxi - assuming he's available?

.....and remember what happened last season with the cushy home semi against Glamorgan in the 40 over comp!

Chris Wood on the card to bat at 11 (although it's likely to be Briggs). Boy do we bat deep.

It's an excellent point on Maxwell. He just started to hit a few against Essex, making some sort of score. If he can take that further today and tomorrow in the 50 over comp, we could see him go into next weekend's QF bang in form. (He said live on Sky against Essex that he is available for the QFs).

Maxwell doesn't worry me at all, he will turn up when needed the most.

I'm always amazed that Durston ended up in the Unicorns, very decent county Pro.

Looks like it's going to be a decent first crack of the whip for your batsmen chasing this down.

Sky were unsure of if Maxwell will be around for the rest of the T20 games, will he be?

I believe so, he has confirmed he will play the Quarters, then Aus have a ODI tournament the day after Finals Day ( I think ), but we have a long standing partnership with Cricket Australia, so im sure they will let him stay.

New top score for both of these 2, I'm confident we can and will chase anything set by them though.

From what I've seen in both domestic t20 cricket in recent years, and in international cricket in England since the new rules came into play (two new white balls, no bowling powerplay, only four men outside the ring outside of the powerplay overs), I'd expect 300 to be an average par score this season.

Given how deep we bat, against teams like us I'd like to think that par score has to be pushed up to about 320.

I really can't work out why Derby sent out Chanders.

Don't see two centuries in an innings in a 50 over game very often.

Suspect you'll see it slightly more often in the future though. As I've said at international level before now, these fielding restrictions are ridiculous for the bowling teams. Trying to defend the boundaries with only three men for 15 overs, and four men for the other 35 overs, is just nothing. Not when so many batsmen these days can play 360 degrees.

Will Smith almost had brilliant figures with 1-40 off 9...then went for 18 :(
