He's gone now.

Crucial wicket as they were building a nice partnership.

Of course if Kent win this they'll also be in the mix for the second promotion place. We still have to play them home and away.

Strange this from Surrey. Rocking along at almost 5 per over, easily more than they need, but they've lost 7 wickets in doing so.

I'm not complaining though.

Northants-Notts tonight. I'm really hoping that Northants win that, as I just don't fancy our chances at Trent Bridge. Give me a trip to Worcs over Notts any day.

One wicket, Kent almost there. After two wins in the t20 maybe things starting to turn around for Hants.

They'll still win but interesting to see that Worcs have run out of steam trying to break the last wicket. 128 now!

Boo. 10th wicket goes. Worcs need 51 to win. What a last wicket partnership though.

Well Done Kent, and Stevens in particular.

I think Fulton just said this is his best ever bowling season.

Really? Two or three years ago he was opening the bowling for them and taking about 6-12 every time.

Previous best was 41 in a season ( 2011 ), today he reached 43.

Kent v Surrey tomorrow .... Quick spot of nrr maths..... if Kent were to get, say, 160 then Surrey would need to be dismissed for less than 63 for their nrr to drop below Hampshire. Unlikely but stranger things have happened before now.

It doesn't look like Surrey are going to be dismissed for any sort of score, let alone 63!

Probably my least favourite draw!

I see Surrey lost tonight & Luke Wright scored an amazing unbeaten 153 for Sussex!

Annoying that in the end, a close Zafer Ansari single last night was the difference between a home QF to Worcs and an away QF to Notts. Quite a big difference between the two!

Still, only got ourselves to blame I guess. We were the ones who got into position, and then blew it. In particular, losing at home to Middlesex was criminal.

Be interesting whether or not Abbott returns for the QF - and if so, then who for.

SA do have a short gap after their current test match finishes. Back in action against Zimbabwe starting on 9 August - almost a whole week after the QF.
