after bowling Leics out for nothing first innings, they batted again and declared leaving Leics to chase down 499 or something in the 4th innings
currently 444-6 needing 55 to win
I think you need to check the score again, Footman.....

Leics couldn't get there..... 15 runs short. What a difference the tea interval made.
I did
there'll have been a few shredded nerves, I imagine

Yeah I read the quoted post only .... going mad today, I think.
Revives the chances of an unlikely promotion, but with 9 draws in 10 games (and a loss) before today, 3 wins on the bounce seems somewhat fantasy.....
Need your boys to do us a favour next week

I hope we do, but I rather suspect that with Leics losing today, Worcs will take the other promotion slot
and with 5 wins, they probably deserve to

Leics defend 11 off the last 12 balls to win the one day cup
these smaller total matches are infinitely superior to bish, bash, bosh on grounds the size of a peanut
you'd think the penny would have dropped by now

Hants were well on course to win that with Dawson in control of the latter part of the chase, but then with 5 needed off the last 3 balls he attempted a rampy scoopy shot that just wasn't there, seemingly, and gave his wicket away

That's a great win for Leicestershire. Looked doomed early on in their innings and again at various times during the run chase. Great effort by the 19 year old to hold his nerve in the last over.

especially after getting some tap in the 9 overs before
I have a feeling he turned us over in the dribble, but then so many bowlers did I may have got him muddled with any one of about 50 bowlers

Sussex docked 12 points for breaches of discipline. Awful timing.

it is
they haven't argued against it though.

Woth noting that while Sussex got a 12 point deduction for 4 separate instances of indiscipline, Durham got a 10 point deduction last year for not double checking the size of Maddinson's bat
Didn't Leics get points deductions for indiscipline last year. I don't remember it being 12..... perhaps it was in the T20 dribble... 4 points is ringing a bell

No and they have dropped 3 of their players for the next game.

I think they did get a deduction but don't remember how many points.

I'm guessing it might have been them, then
