I guess you could say hes took two good paceman and turned them into international squad players. But the batting has been a train wreck too often. Maybe its obvious that his skills are coaching talented paceman rather than getting batters in form. We havent looked a great team under him though, so I guess the project has failed.
No hard lines. Seemed like a decent guy, I wish him the best of luck back in Australia.

I see Graves has an idea to help county cricket recover from the covid disaster...recommends that some of them abandon first class cricket and just play the white ball formats!

Darren Stevens has signed a 12 month extension with Kent.
44 years old and county cricket's oldest player, but he can still perform. He has 20 wickets in the 4 BWT matches played so far

Halfway through the Varsity match and Cambridge rattled Oxford out for 129 after posting 307 themselves.
James Vitali was the star in his first class debut with 6-34.
Cambridge are 95-5 in their second dig.

Ian Bell announces retirement. Very honest, just says he knows it's time to retire.

Had a few tetchy internet discussions about Ian Bell over the years. Hope he's ok, some don't adapt well to retirement. Got a feeling he might be one of those.
Plenty of great highs with England. I guess most will pick his three tons in the 2013 Ashes as his peak.
Great fielder.

Already got a coaching post at Warwickshire I believe plus a strong family base. He should be OK.

did Bunny get his coaching role with Lancs?
he set great store by it when he left us, but I'm not sure he did get a commitment on that
