Rightly so, how can the counties be able to grow when they get minimum media exposure?

I don't think the TV rights are that out of reach for terrestial broadcasters. The BBC pay £69.1 Million per year to have Premier League Highlights, whilst the whole TV rights for domestic and England Cricket is currently at £70 Million. All it takes is one brave punt from someone like ITV who have the capacity to host cricket without interruption.

Must have been a difficult decision for Ingram. He's scoring runs and South Afria don't have a completely settled line up in any format.

Very good signing for Glam. It's infuriating to see other counties make these great signings then see us picking up the likes of Buck.

Think it's a brilliant idea myself. Do it in a way where leagues, affiliated or independent from the ECB have a knockout Twenty20 competition. Winners of those respective tournaments enter the qualifying rounds towards the end season/beginning of next season.

I think it can now the domestic season finishes at the back end of September. It's a case of how many leagues are there in England and Wales who play organised club cricket and how many can enter within a timescale. The 2008 and 2009 seasons had four competitions (16x CC, 8xFPT50 + KO, 8xPro40, 10xt20 + K0) and I don't remember the fixture list being that congested.

Realistically a T20 Knockout tournament won't be able to start until 2017. Need the 2015 season for a planning and consultation period with club leagues and the ECB, 2016 season for all participating club leagues to start Twenty20 competitions of their own as a route of qualification. Then late 2016/early 2017 for qualifying rounds to commence before the major counties enter.
