Bates, Balcombe & Brathwaite all out of contract at Hants. Hampshire have a policy of too many wickies on their books & then periodically having to release at least one! Those with long memories may recall Goldie, more recently it was Rouse who popped up at Glos this season. Bates is a fantastic wickie who has worked hard at his batting - he won't let anyone down & has a great attitude - not as fiery as some wickies!
[Hants are like Bournemouth with goalies - not just the one in the chair, an heir & a spare but a spare pair !]

gutted that Tom craddock has been released, and i really don't understand why...... however im ecstatic that Saj has been released!!

yeah but Monty is erratic, on and off the pitch.... Craddock is needed at Chelsmford!!
