I've been to a couple - Leicestershire and Lancs. Looked like a good crowd for the latter, was Sunday afternoon but not great weather so that probably put a few off.
Going from the YouTube coverage it seemed quite busy on Friday.

it'll be interesting to see how much play we get today. It hasn't rained since the early hours of the morning, but it's so cold and overcast that nothing is drying out. If they can get on, then perhaps we'll get a game, but the challenge might be getting on in the first place

Err...
I assumed it'd be abandoned. Always a disadvantage to bat first but de Leede going for 23 didn't help! Thought it odd to have Robinson down the order.

these few over slogs are difficult to win if you lose the toss and have to bat first

at least we don't have to worry about the rest of the week now

3rd to 6th in 14 overs and if Derbys win mid week we'll be 7th..... which is about our level, I think, although we've won many more games than I expected

Won more than I expected too but not sure I see it as progress. Batting still too unreliable and the bowling- spinners excepted- is , to be polite, inconsistent. Definitely a disadvantage to lose the toss...although if we bowled first we'd probably have been trying to chase about 110!

Other thing is I'm not sure Lees is a natural captain. Really hard job when you have an unreliable bowling attack but Turner has a proven record as T20 captain.

I'm not sure about his captaincy either. The problem with giving it to Turner is that it reduces our OS options regarding Bedders and we really do need a Dwarshius type bowler. Remember weeks ago, I told you what would happen when Northants signed Agar for 3 matches........ 3 fours and 3 sixes in an 8 over tonkathon.

I'm not sure what we were playing at for the first 3 overs, but White picked up 1 for 5 in 2 overs of what should have been a slog fest. In answer to your earlier Robbo question. seemingly we were 'thinking on our feet' in the batting line up according to Cambo. Maybe that should have been 'thinking with our feet'

I'm not unhappy with the result; in Sept it'll save us the ignominy of the usual QF hammering at the hands of a good southern team who know how to play the game. Turner and Dwarshius wouldn't have been here anyway and we probably wouldn't have had access to Potts either, so we'd have had to play away against a good side with sparse bowling stocks..... crikey... we might have had to play Glover
