I'm not sure Leciester fans would be said to see them go down. Or any country who Notts take their players from.

I was thinking more of losing Trent Bridge from Div one rather than the team. For years Div One was without Lords and The Oval now we have all three but if we're going to lose one make it the Oval not TB.

Time for Bell to get a big ton, to jog the selectors' memories for when the winter tours are named.

An unlikely partnership taking place between Read and Tahir for Notts 9th wicket. Imran 25 n.o. rather good.

Oh dear, I put a hex on it, Imran out for25.

Relatively low coring game - Bell took over 3 hours to make 43.

Seriously Bell is still probably one of the best players of spin but he was discarded because of issues which there is no evidence he has overcome. Hales, Vince and Balance have had plenty opportunities, time for Hameed, NorthEast and Borthwick to be given their opportunity. Borthwick needs to regain form before the end of season.

This is slowly going wrong for Yorkshire. Really could do with a ton on debut here for Jake Lehmann. Rashid is overdue an innings.

Slow is an understatement, have Sayers and Boycott come out of retirement and batting together

Only realistic way Yorkshire can win this game is if they get a lead of 150 by tomorrow lunch and the pitch suddenly misbehaves.

A draw would be a good enough outcome from here.

34 runs with three wickets intact to get past the follow on. A bit tense.

Whilst the follow on is avoided, Yorkshire still need to get as close to Lancashire's total as possible. Even a 100 run lead, Lancashire can add a quick 175 to make Yorkshire chase 275 on a bunsen burner.

Not many wickets have fallen to spin in the match to date though.
