Surrey always seem to find a way to lose though.

I think Yorks, Notts and Somerset are the only top division teams without their own thread. Somerset struggling against the Middx tail.

150 stand for the Middlesex 9th wicket!

Yes! Three down in a few seconds.

Little batting in the Yorks side though. Need to get Surrey out for under 250.

Somerset are trying their best in avoiding defeat against Middlesex. Peter Trego with a splendid 138, whilst the last wicket stand of Leach and Groenewald are hanging in there. A lead of 287 runs with 49.4 overs to go as I type.

"They took all our players away, banned our captain and we still came away with a ten-wicket victory" Jason Gillespie
"You won't get anywhere slouching about half out of bed" Geoffrey Boycott

Two wickets in an over from Leach could save Somerset. 30 off four with three wickets.

Middlesex win as Simpson hit a 6 in the day's last over. Could be a Championship winning stroke. Great stuff.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.
