Not holding out much hope for tonight. Lancs batting failed last night against Yorkshire but they were chasing a big star. Buttler, Salt, Livingstone, Mitchelll, de Grandhomme.
You never know but I suspect our best chance is to emulate Yorkshire - hope to bat first and then post a score that puts Lancs under pressure. If there's anynpre wayward power play bowling it might be a record breaking evening!

Buttler's last 4 T20 scores have been 0,0,0,1, I think, so I reckon a 36 ball 80 is on the cards tonight

Yes. He won't be kept quiet for much longer.
Probably the line-up you'd least like to face with a weakened bowling attack- be tough enough at full strength.

particularly given the way we like to disppoint the home crowd

That being said I won't be there to jinx it tnight, because I'm on doggy sitting duty for 2 nights, so we might be okay.

I'll be there to mess it up on Sunday though

Lancs batting first. I'm not going either if by some miracle we win, I'll watch it afterwards on YouTube.
If the power play goes badly I think we'll be in for a thrashing!

Glover in for Doneathy. He was a bit erratic in the first 2 games. Suppose though if Doneathy isn't going to bowl we might as well pick a bowler.

137/6! After the first few overs I was wondering if we would keep them under 220.

It's bad news when the only time our team wins is when we aren't there to see it

We'll probably get mullered on Sunday

Lost the toss again and are batting first. Debut for Luke Robinson.

We are being completely dominated by leics in this pp. bowling on the money and the fielding sharp. We can’t get the ball off the wicket let alone the square

Looks as though we’re going to have to defend 140 at this rate

Good work from these two. 12 an over for the last few overs

Excellent recovery but fell away again in the last couple of overs. With the way Robinson was going I wonder if Parnell and Trevaskis should have just tried to give him the strike.
Hopefully we can have a good bowling power play - although that rarely happens!
