Jamie Porter looks like a cross between Ben Stokes and Stuart Broad.

Attractive looking game this afternoon with Notts v Durham and a qualifying place at stake.

I'd guess Yorks are one win from the quarters.

It could be tricky for Durham - only had 4 batsmen score runs so far in this competition and one of them is Stephen Cook who isn't available for this game and the next one.
Jennings & Richardson have done exceptionally well and so has Colly but the rest of the batting is suspect.

Negative thinking! Durham have 3rd, 7th and 15th top scorer in the competition, including both divisions.

Yes, I suppose there are grounds for optimism! I'm not confident but hopefully will be proven wrong.

Fair enough the 15th isn't available.

I bet supporters think that the run scorers are due a failure... but not that the strugglers are due some runs!

Yesterday I was thinking Ballance couldn't keep scoring runs... and he got an unbeaten 152...

Seems to be a trend for early wickets in this competition, usually followed by a recovery against the older ball.

Hales showing signs of getting going after a dodgy start. Pitch seems good and the outfield is very quick.

Gloomy day in Nottingham, so should be help for the bowlers for a while.

Weighell has been excellent in the field but has just dropped Hales. Not a simple chance but should still have been taken.
