Yorks get home with a lot less drama than there might have been

Wins for Essex, Lancs and, suprisingly, Surrey..... chasing down a target of 501 is some feat, so fair play to them. For 3 of the 4 days they were under the cosh

Warks pay the price for batting far too long in their first innings. I guess they almost felt obliged to make Notts follow on, but at some point bowlers have to rest and it's a lot to ask of them to bowl for 2 and a half days in the baking hot sunshine. Would they have chosen to do that if the bowlers had to play another CC game in a few days time? I'll never know, I guess

Glamorgan held off the Durham charge by batting all day for 250 runs. They did what they had to do

Leics and Worcs both need 70 odd to win in their matches, with plenty of wickets in hand, so time remaining is going to be key. Both can probably afford to switch into T20 mode for half an hour. The Leics game was going nowhere for 3 days, so Gloucs have let a sure fire draw slip into something more dire

Leics have 16 overs, so just need to bat sensibly. Worcs have 12 overs and have just lost a 4th wicket, needing 5 or 6 an over

Leics are going along nicely, picking up 2 boundaries in each of the last few overs. I'm not sure that Worcs are going for the win..... but they might surprise me

Leics win at a canter

Sussex fight back against Worcs by lifting Azhar in the penultimate over of the match. Worcs still require 9 runs

Not had internet for a few days, so good to see Yorks win a game, even if only v Derbys. Looks like a bit of a nailbiter.

Matt Parkinson moving to Essex at the end of the season. They have Harmer and Critchley. Maybe he will start with white ball cricket.

Good batting day for Yorks, with a pair of tons. No Bess or Coad though.
