I think you can break out the Krug. It will be great to see Sussex v Hampshire in the CC again. I only hope they will play the home game at Arundel again.

Wonder how many of Ajmal's wickets for Worcestershire this season were illegal deliveries?

All of them! Apparently his action is illegal for all his variations!
Looks like a result wicket down at New Road - although can't be bad if they chose to bat.

Quite possible that Kent, Worcs and Essex could end up with just two batting points between them.

Today couldn't of gone much better for us, hopefully Surrey push on tomorrow and are in the lead by Tea.

Agree - assuming bid Surrey win suits us best, despite keeping them in the hunt? Fewer bonus points the better, but on balance would probably let them have max points if it meant Worcs got stuffed.......

If we didn't have Immy, I'd probably be willing to take promotion, with him I feel we can win it.

It's like a perverse sort of mental gamble. If Worcs win then they prob win CC2 but we're virtually sure of promotion BUT if Surrey win (& with decent weather forecast & the game already into another innings then a definite result is pretty certain) then they are in with a real chance of promotion & could overtake us if we really blow up in our last 2 games & bowl like Leics did yesterday or bat like we sometimes do & go down with all guns whimpering!
However, the positive outlook is if Surrey win we have a really great chance of winning CC2 for the first time.

I don't give a flying *modded* about winning the league, i just want promotion. I'm not overly fussed at what happens in the Surrey v Worcs game, as a couple of draws should be enough in our final two games, so if we lose them both, we're crap and don't deserve to go up. However if we manage to win one or both then we may go up as champions which is a minor bonus to me, but when it comes to winning the title the CC1 title is all that really matters.

Doncaster pipped Bournemouth to the div one title in the 2012/13 season but it didn't do them much good the following season.

Jason Roy 70* off 71 balls is doing us a favor here, Worcs could end up with just 1 bowling point. 4 wickets in the 90th over.
