Interesting to hear that we originally targeted Siddle as our overseas player, and thought we had him (Notts obviously ended up beating us too him though).

Would explain while we took a while in announcing someone. Abbott was evidentially, at best, our second choice. I'm not complaining though.

Benks is on record as saying that Gatting impressed him in pre-season, if that hadn't of been the case, there would of been no issue with Wheater at 7, and therefore I don't see an issue arising with Bates coming in at 7, unless we promote Coles to 7 and Bates at 8, I can't see Gatting keeping his spot at all.

Thank goodness for that, MUCH happier with Abbott ( and that was the case before this weeks games )

20 runs added in 11 balls since Daws got out, looks like these 2 want to end it in a hurry.

Won't see many quicker four day 50s than that from Vince. 31 balls.

Apparently it doesn't matter what the format is, these two just bat so well together.

Game over. Last two balls both hit for 6 by Carberry to bring up his 100, and the win.

Fantastic

Anyone know where to find the record for the quickest 100 partnership in FC cricket :O. That's better than we usually do in T20's...
