Could do with him out before stumps, Yorkshire might be able to restrict Notts to 400.

In the last 30 months he has averaged nearly 80 in test cricket with 4 x 200 (one 319), has averaged 60 in ODI cricket, and near 40 in TI20 cricket.....

Bradman aside, there is an argument that in all forms of the game he is the most on form player of all time......

Currently batting against Craig Meschede and David Lloyd......

I expect him to break 2000 runs this summer

I doubt that could ever happen again in a FC match, but if anyone is enough on form and good enough...... makes you wonder how much Surrey are paying him to turn up!! Damn these rich counties!

Going by people who are at the game, it seems that this Kent score might be competitive. Very green pitch with plenty of movement and variable bounce.

Says it all with Jesse Ryder getting a 5-fer

60-5 Essex now... would seem its a bowling paradise

The Surrey recruitment policy has to be questioned. They should be concentrating more on local talent rather than splashing the cash every season. I know they have some promising youngsters but there are so many veterans bought in. Given their resources and location I'd have thought there is no excuse for not having a team full of local talent.

They do have Burns, Ansari, Roy, Curran, Dunn. Decent amount.
