Glamorgan's news today means that if you win both your games, the worst you will finish will be 5th, behind Lancs on NRR. You'd be certain of finishing above Middlesex, Kent and Glamorgan.

But in all likelihood, you'd finish 4th. Lancs would have to match your two wins out of two, and that would include beating us at the Rose Bowl. And in that event, if we were to then follow that up with a defeat at Trent Bridge, then it would us that you'd pip to 4th instead.

If he can do so legally as a 'wicketkeeper' wouldn't it make sense for him to keep his inners or a single glove on as wicketkeeper which shouldn't really disadvantage him at all but will mean he won't kill his hands when taking the ball if it comes through.
