Yes,for some reason I was sceptical about his "picked up an injury in training".Signed a 3 year contract 2019 and don't recall any news of a renewal/extension.

Very good news. Jones has done well after a disastrous thrown in at the deep end start and Trevaskis is very useful with bat and ball.
The squad still looks short on numbers so recruitment is required and, to be fair, they have made some excellent signings over the past few years.
Hopefully Bedingham's decision to stay helps with recruitment and also to persuade anyone thinking of leaving to stay put. 2 or 3 years ago I suspect he'd be on his way to Trent Bridge or The Oval!
