All out for 266. Dexter takes the best figures of his career.

Timed nicely so you don't need to face a few tricky overs tonight.

Blimey, we can't even put on a good batting display against a Uni side. Hopefully the whispers about an overseas bat for the second half of the season are true.

Well it's offical, Fred is back. Hard to know if he's actually still capable of making an impact given he's been out of the game for five years.

I wish him well but I hope he doesn't make his impact tonight against Warwickshire.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

I think the idea is to increase the number of spectators, M_S, rather than anything directly to do with the cricket...

I'm not really sure that Flintoff has enough star power to generate much excitement outside those people who'd watch cricket even if he wasn't playing. It's a little easy to forget just quite how long he has been retired for.

Yes, it is, and that's just why the powers that be will hope he'll attract spectators.

Two good bowling performances to defend low totals. With the IPL finishing it will be interesting to see if there is any truth to the rumors about an overseas signing.

Warwickshire continue to prove they are hopeless batsmen in all one day games.
