I knew there must have been a reason for our match with Northants starting a day earlier than the others on the Saturday. Someone had checked the weather forecast!

Apparently he was our 1st choice overseas, but he opted for Notts...so glad we ended up with Plan B in Kyle Abbott.

He wasn't in the squad originally - but was called up after two late injuries. Only got there 10 minutes before lunch and then had to wait until he had been on the pitch long enough to be allowed to bowl.
