Tommo is the same, he'll make a great commentator when he retires..hes also more modest than Mullally.

On course to do our NRR the world of good.

I did say Middlesex sticking us in could backfire on them, giving their poor form with the bat, if we went out and put a score on.

Won't get too many t20 wins as comfortable as that. Well done guys.

Vince is my MOTM, but Shah, Briggs and Smith all get a lot of credit. The fact that Maxwell is still to come into this side is just scary.

Vince is MOTM, but its frustrating, he should of batted through, collected his 100 and been there at the end.

Nice to be top of two tables, even though we've played more games than some.

Probably the first time that I've been on this (& its predecessor) forum that I can honestly say that we've had a reaaly good (great?) start to the season.

Well done lads.

Re: commentary on Radio Solent. Steve Fletcher & (in the last few years) John Williams are OK for AFC Bournemouth but Tommo (& now Dawson) are really good & worth listening to - far better than some of the Sky guys.

Has to 'great' surely. The only team blip was the defeat to Glamorgan, and even then that was only down the final four overs of the match. The only individual blip is Gatting's batting.

No-one can have a go at our three Championship draws, because all of those matches were rain affected.

It has certainly been a great start to the season.

Not sure why you've pinpointed Gattings batting though Brendy, hes played 2 very useful knocks this season, the same as Adams ( in the LVCC )

Benny Howell has 4-60 for Gloucester, good to see him doing well, still annoyed we didn't keep hold of him.

Vince is top of the MVP rankings atm.

But Mitchell has beaten him to 700 FC runs this season, he has 700 exactly at 116.66 , Vince has 657 at 93.85.

Remarkably Vinces runs have been scored with a strike rate slightly over 80, whilst Mitchells have been slightly under 50.

Vince is also the only batsman in the country with over 100 4s this season.
