well, the weather is terrible today and forecast to be worse tomorrow, so I'm not sure how much play there'll be before Wednesday. If there isn't any, then win the toss and bat first to try and prevent the old boy from earning Lancs 5 batting points

sometimes it just isn't your day. After bowling some poor full balls, he gets to the last 2 balls of a much better over and concedes 4 to 3rd man as the batter tries to withdraw his bat and then a genuine edge joins it next ball
