Incredible season from Yorkshire. If you stop and consider they've been without: Rashid, Plunkett, Lyth, Root, Ballance and Bairstow at various times during the season it is a remarkable achievement to win the championship let alone do it so convincingly. I do worry we're heading for a fair few years where the only competition in Division 1 is who will come second to the White Rose.

I'd like to add my congrats to Yorkshire. the stand out county.

for those who worry that Yorks will dominate for years and years..... fear not! 3 in a row is incredibly hard to achieve. I thought Durham were nailed on for 3 in a row after romping to back to back titles in 2010 with 2 matches to spare, yet 2011 was a disaster with almost every bowler out injured, Smith getting sacked, dressing room unrest and big earning players not giving a sh1t. Sussex couldn't do the 3 in a row either and they had 100 wickets a season Mushy in the side (and a terrific work ethic )

It's a very hard thing to do, and almost anything can happen between now and then that bursts the tyres on the Yorky juggernaut

Either Yorkshire are shattered or the wicket is now a road of a surface.

They say you can't lose if scoring 600 in an innings, that theory can be put to the test if Yorkshire play with intent and get a whole days play tomorrow.
