More wickets, fine fight back after a rather manic first hour or so.

I thought Zaidi had been banned for one game.

Excelent innings from Yardy thus far. Sussex putting on quite the decent score.

Finally bowl Sussex out for 298, more than they should have got down to a fantastic innings from Yardy. Hopefully Brown will make a decent score today.

He was in the squad, can't find anything on why he got dropped.

Yet another poor batting performance thus far.

Andrew Flintoff doing a bit of coaching for Lancashire, speculation mounting of a possible Twenty20 comeback.

He's been working with the seconds for a while now. I'd be amazed if there is anything other than media hype about him playing in the T20. He's not played top flight cricket for nearly 5 years.

As a batsman only surely? I don't count T20 as being top flight cricket, but that's just me. It would be a massive money maker for Lancs if he does and great for all of us to watch too.

Come on Freddie!

By top flight, I meant any form of County cricket or above, in fact I don't think he's even played any competitive cricket since he retired.

Bumble mentioned the possibility of Flintoff playing 2nd XI cricket, I assuming it's the T20 games. Charles Colville mentioned whether Flintoff had an insurance policy for retiring prematurely from injury and received a pay out.

All speculation of course, but it's giving county cricket decent publicity.

Good recovery from Davies and Smith, still a long way behind though.

There seems to have been some crossed wires, Fred asked St Annes to register him to play some T20, then Allott didn't rule out the idea of him turning out for us, probably to drum up some interest in the T20.

Smith and Davies still there at the close, 140 behind still, but if we can bat till lunch tomorrow then we'd not be far behind.

Something needs to be done about the batting, sadly seems to be the same old story at present. Far too much potential, not enough scores.

There'll be a few more heading after Cross and Moores come the end of the season if they don't buck up their ideas.
