50 for Carse, I see. Looks like he really had to apply himself for that, so good knock.

Yes. I'm not sure she'll get a big welcome next time she is at Northants. Although to be fair she did seem to be trying to keep play going today.
Martin Emmerson had his usual stats- Lancs have only scored over 300 in the Championship three times this season- and all were in April!

Looks like a draw. Century for Bohannon who hadn't got past 50 since the second game!

Not got beyond 300 since the 3rd one!
I watched some of it this afternoon and there was an end of term feel about it. Seems highly unlikely we have an attack capable of forcing a win tomorrow. Still, we'll finish unbeaten.
I presume if wickets don't fall early in the morning everyone will be hoping Redfern gets the light metre out.

finally, after umpteen delays for rain and light and probably wind and snow, the umpires have seen sense and let everyone go home for the winter

div 2 champions and unbeaten for the season

3 matches for Sir Laurence, 43 overs, 0-153 and 6 runs..... and we brought him over early to replace Roach who sprayed it around and overstepped continuously until he got injured early (thank goodness)

The single biggest thing that Cambo has to correct ahead of next season. The last 2 or 3 years have seen some of our worst overseas signings. It has to stop now!

Definitely. That second overseas slot has been hopeless. I know it's difficult with the IPL early season and the various other franchise competitions- but unless we're sure someone is up to the required standard we might as well not bother.
I think Agarwal might not be a bad option.

The batting as a unit will need to improve. Lees had a poor year but a good one last season in division 1
I think the Clark/Ackermann/ Rhodes positions are potentially a weakness which is why a second overseas batter would be an idea. Then it depends on how much we see of Stokes and Carse.
Was really impressive to go unbeaten this year but I don't think the overall performances would have cut it im division one.
