Hopefully never. I think test matches are well enough attended. Where there are empty seats the issue seems to be the cost of tickets rather than the entertainment.

If it happens, it'll be entirely for the benefit of tv. So it's bound to happen.

I'm not sure how effective Day/Night test cricket is going to be in England, most of summer it stays light until past 9pm and even then the light lingers for a while further.

However Day/Night County Championship matches has potential to attract the crowds.

Fast bowler Zak Gibson awarded inaugural Maori Cricket Scholarship and have successfully tempted him away from a professional rugby contract.

Can't think of many cricketers who could also have been rugby players.

I think there was an all black in the nineties who later played cricket for NZ. Wilson, possibly?

A few cricketers played top division football going back twenty years and beyond, including Ryan Sidebottom's dad.

Well of course there was Fry who played cricket for England, in the FA Cup for Southhampton, for the BarBars in Rugby and not to mention was a record holder in the long jump.

Rugby and cricket aren't that all uncommon.

Yeah, but he was a plonker, so that doesn't count.
